Brian Shaw was fired from his position as Nuggets head coach earlier this week, but that doesn’t mean he’s

not confident in his ability to get another one.

Days after his firing, Shaw is reportedly interested in coaching the Magic, according to the Orlando Sentinel.

The newspaper cites a source that says Shaw would "absolutely" be "very interested" in coaching the Magic.

Shaw played for Orlando during their glory days in the mid 1990s, playing point guard alongside Penny Hardaway and Shaquille O’Neal. The 48-year-old was fired during his second season with Denver on Tuesday.

The Magic are in the market for a head coach, after firing Jacque Vaughn. Prior to his stint with the Nuggets, Shaw interviewed for the position before the team decided to hire Vaughn.
